Thanks for all the ideas for the beach for the kids. I always told my grandson when you go to the beach bring some of it home for me. He would bring some sand and sea shells for me. I can be out in the heat to long so I dont go anymore.

Great resources! Right on time as we are headed to the beach today. I usually have a plan for me to veg out under a shade umbrella and read or write. Nobody seems to be with that plan!!!

How fun! So many great ideas! Though I could just sit and stare at the water for hours and that would be enough for me.

I love how you provide information on your website. you always allow the reader to know more by adding a link. I also like these tips because I tend to get so bored at the beach that is when my family drag me to the beach with them.

  6. These are really great ideas! We keep a plastic tote full of beach sand and shells for days when the kids want the beach and I don’t want the drive….

Super fun ideas. I especially like the one using old cans and painting them to use as sand toys. Smart one for upcycling!

We’re in Florida so we are BIG beach people. Fantastic ideas! I’m loving a beach scavenger hunt. I think that activity alone will keep little and big kids alike pretty busy for hours at a time.

I love how some of these activities do not require going to the beach! While we have a few ‘beaches’ along lakes here in SC Alaska, it is not the same as what I knew from the gulf coast. Sensory play in a bin at home is a wonderful approximation and maybe even a little more controlled of a mess.
